Six weeks 4,000 miles
All Articles Apr 5, 2009 | posted by daveThe much anticipated road trip story I know you all want to read about. Just another road trip story that was so great, and you should be totally bummed you missed it. Really in hind sight road trips are kind of stupid. It's so great when you visit all your friends in cool places then wish you could only see them more, and be around for all the mundane stuff that is really what makes places sweet. Well, whatever, I was able to make it to Cottonwood about three times, Santa Cruz for a week, and Woodward West for about ten days, and a couple stops in between. The POW dudes really know how to have a good time, diggin trails, BBQing, falling off couches with fresh ACL's are all just a few the recreational activites they regularly partake in. Stopped by Fresno Smooth's place for a few days and had a small tour of about 40 tabletops, and more rollers in a rhythm section than you can shake a stick at, seriously, your arm would get tired. Also did a small bit of backcountry snowboarding in the MT. Shasta region, and only took pics with a film camera, how old school, and un-instagratifying. Enough cynicalism for one post, traveling can be sweet, riding trails is the best, and hanging out with friends even better. Some pics now.
